Getting your SIN
To work in Canada or access government programs and benefits, you need a 9-digit number known as a Social Insurance Number (SIN). Your SIN is private, and it is illegal for anyone else to use it. You are responsible for protecting your SIN. Service Canada is responsible for issuing SINs, which comes in a paper format (Confirmation of SIN letter). If you have a plastic SIN card that has not expired, it is still valid.

- be able to drive a vehicle safely and properly
- understand all traffic signs

Depending on whichever comes 1st, as a new Saskatchewan resident, you have to apply for a Class 5 driver’s licence either:

Helpful tips if you are thinking of buying a car in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
When purchasing any vehicle, buyers go through a great deal of research to find the best fitting vehicle for them.
You may have noticed that nowadays, Saskatoon’s and Saskatchewan’s roads have more SUVs than sedans plying them. There must be a reason for them to have become so popular over the last couple of decades, right? Yes! One of the chief reasons why people prefer SUVs to sedans is that they typically offer more space. Some used SUVs can carry more passengers and have spacious trunks. Many SUVs are also more reliable and efficient off-roaders. The majority of SUVs come with 4-wheel drive and traction control that helps them cope with rugged roads.
The second reason for SUVs’ popularity in the prairies is the significant snow we see during the winter. The height of a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) is considered safe during heavy snowfall days. The extra height than sedans, giving a clearer view of the road and the ability to go over uneven terrain (or city curbs) without scraping the underside.
These off-road qualities of an SUV make it safer to use in snow or winter weather conditions than a sedan as well. Today, used SUVs have become more fuel-efficient than ever and can be just as affordable. For a family with two or more children, an SUV can be the ideal daily drive to achieve all tasks you can throw at it. A used SUV is more affordable to purchase, and you won’t have to make the most significant depreciation hit on the vehicle.
If you are looking for used SUVs for Saskatoon sale, you first need to know how to choose the right SUV for your needs. You need to determine what amount of space you need. Consider the number of people in your family, and pets if any. Would the vehicle be carrying any equipment, or would the SUV spend more time off-road? Will you need a 4-wheel drive, or are you planning on towing heavy things? Will fuel efficiency be a concern, and if so, what hybrid options exist? How about power and reliability?
